Time for some reflection.

So this past weekend I drove up to Laramie to hang out with Laura. The drive there was awesome. Here's why.

I was driving, cruise control set at ~72-73mph, and I passed a whole 3-4 trucks. That's about it. Maybe a car or two here and there, but it was just a really nice drive. I had all the windows down, sunroof open, and the music cranked up as loud as I've had it in a while. The songs that I chose to put on the CD was perfectly chosen for the situation. They were, how do I put it, those summer-time, just cruising down the highway, wind in your hair, sort of songs, you know? And I don't know, maybe it was me seeing Laura or whatever, but at that point, for the hour or so, life was great. Well and of course the rest of the weekend was good too.

That trip made me want to go on a road trip again. Like when Ben and I went up to Buffalo, Wyoming to see a friend. Or to Grinnell, Iowa to see a friend. Turns out, Ben and I hung out quite a bit and had some good times. It's a shame that I don't see him at all anymore. I think he's even in town too. Strange how that happens. To tell you the truth, well, I won't write it here. That thought is for me.

And of course, good things come to an end, sort of. The trip back, on the otherhand, sucked because there were lots of people and they just wanted to speed on by. You know me, I don't like getting passed by people. This one truck was crazy. I almost, really almost sped up to the same speed as him as he was passing me to make it so he had nowhere to go and he would hit the oncoming car...is that bad of me? I don't think so. :)

So I have about a week left and then some volunteer time and I'm off into the real world, again, so to speak. I have to start finding jobs here pretty soon. Either that or get my little project going asap! Time is nearing the end my boy! Haha, that was for TJ since he wrote a bit in his blog.

What I might do in the near future, is to make it so all of my blogs appear on one page, copy it and paste it into Word and print it out, like 2 to a page like a book. I think it would be sort of a cool thing to have, you know. I'll be like, yeah, that's my autobiography. Haha. I wonder how many pages I can fill.

So in a couple of week's time, my internship will be over as well, and finishing up my assignments, doing my internship rating and all that and getting a grade. I hope I get an A. I don't think I have a problem with that, though, unless my boss just messes up my rating since it's worth 40% of your grade!

Sadly, because of my stupid ass business management teacher's B, I won't be getting a 3.0 ending my college career. I really wish I would have...just one F or D converted would have done it, but I think I did a good job. I mean, my GPA when I returned to CSU from FRCC was 1.333! If only the FRCC grades transferred. My goal was to beat Chris out of school as well as beat him in GPA. I may or may not do the latter. I can't believe how much I changed after the first 2 years. Dunno what got into me. The thing is, Chris has so many withdrawals on his transcript. I don't know about anyone else, but I for one don't like to "quit"...even though I sort of did when I got kicked out. At least getting kicked out and quitting are different, right? :)

So I may be getting my brother's laptop. The thing is, his laptop had the same problem as Ashley's overheating and stuff. He sent it to me so hopefully I'll get it soon and if I can fix it, I can use that instead of getting a new computer. The thing is (god I say that a lot!), I think I can sell it for parts and get enough money to get my desktop, which would be SCHAWEEEEEEEEEEET! But on another note about laptops, I ordered Laura's laptop too. It's a greatly configured Dell with a $750 off $1899 coupon, so with a mini mouse, it came to $1210 shipped. Should ship about 9/19. I decided to get a loan for it through Dell and Laura can give me the money to pay the entire thing off to build my credit. Sneaky huh?

What else is worthy to mention? Um, not sure. I redesigned the guy from Boulder's website, which I already said, but this is the new redesign: http://www.voipnuke.com.

Well it's getting pretty long and I'm going to watch some TV as I head to sleep. Lately I've been thinking about writing a fantasy novel/book/story too. I have an idea, but I'm not sure how good of a write I am. I don't really know what the standard way to write conversations and how to make the story and chapters flow and stuff...oh well.

Here's a pretty website I look at once in a while just for visuals: http://www.joshuaink.com/
