Figured I'd get a quick sentence or two in while the kids are watching TV.
So, it's almost the end of November. A lot has happened since like 2 blogs ago and I really need to summarize it all, but I have a feeling that it's just going to end up in the year-end summary. The last couple of months have been rough for all of us I think because of all the events that's been going on and it may just be stressful through to the end of the year.
I've just had zero motivation (once again) to do anything. I was telling myself that at the end of November, I was going to publish the first part of my second book, but that, of course, didn't happen. I hardly got anything written as a matter of fact. I GOT to do it by the 1st of next year. I need a nice, clean date as a starting point or it will just bug me to no end. My goal is still to pay for the Disneyworld trip with these sales...that's shooting for the stars, though. On a similar note, however, I'm actually only like $40 away from breaking even on my crane gift venture on Amazon. Sales have been trickling, but steady. The other day I had a HUGE 22-crane order which helped a lot. Not sure why someone would need 22 cranes, but that's okay by me! I am regretting not using an automated feedback/review solicitation service since I started because I still have no reviews, but at the same time, I dread getting a bad review.
Anyway. The show is about to finish. I bought a new TV yesterday on a whim because it was a TV that I was eyeing for a long time and it was the lowest price I've seen (and probably the lowest it would get) since it was Cyber Monday. We didn't really need it, but, I don't know. I feel better about it after sleeping on it. I was contemplating returning it last night, but not so much now. We'll see how I feel in a couple of more days.
The main reason was to move the bigger TV into our bedroom and play a new Tales game that I got for the Xbox 360 (yes, bought that, too, but it was a break even deal; will explain later). Laura thought that the bigger TV might affect her sleeping at night, but we tested it out last night and I actually didn't think it was any brighter than our 32", surprisingly. I chose a brightness setting that changes automatically depending on the room's lighting conditions and it made it quite dark, but viewable. I'll ask her about it tonight.
Ok, I'm out for now.
