So I'm about 75% moved in. All the stuff that I brought up is settled in and sorted out. I really don't have much to bring! Chris helped moving a trunk and a hamper up in his car. We had lunch/dinner and he left. I'm typing this on Laura's new laptop. It's nice. I've been playing Halo the last couple days.

The thing is, I forgot my wireless card for my laptop, either that or I misplaced it and I don't know where that is. Anyway, I can't surf on my laptop as of yet. Hopefully the card will surface soon.

Other than that, I have to find a job!! I haven't gotten paid yet for my last pay period...which is strange. I hope everything gets sorted out tomorrow morning or something. I have to pay some utility bills and such.

I have to get Motogolf.com going too, and to get my brother's actress friend's website up.

Anyway, that's all for now. I'll hopefully be writing from my laptop soon so I don't have to use Laura's.

See ya.

Friday, September 30, 2005

Welp, I'm getting ready to move tomorrow up to Laramie. I've got most of my stuff ready to go. Truth is, there isn't much that I have and the stuff that I do have is already packed up in a way from the last move. The big things left are pretty much my desk, which I might get something new anyway, so I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it, my futon, which I'll get when I find a place and my furniture, which Chris is going to keep. That's all. Just little stuff you know.

It's sort of exciting starting a new chapter and at the same time I'm sort of nervous. But one thing's for sure, I'll be with Laura. :)

That reminds me of a saying that one of my group members said about this big, important project back in school that we were working on and stressing out about:

"I'm not sure why we're stressing over this. Everything will work out in the end anyway, it always does."

I don't know, that somehow stuck to my head and I think for the most part it's true. It's weird how much we worry for nothing sometimes. I know everyone's had one of those experiences before.

One thing I HATE worrying about is getting a paycheck from CSU. Today was pay day, but alas, it hasn't gone into my checking yet. I got worried so I wrote an e-mail out, but I won't probably get a response until Monday. The thing is, I'm sure I'll get the money, so I'm not worried about that...so what am I worried about? I don't know. I just want things to work sometimes.

I caught a glimpse of the movie "Alive" today, like the last 20-30 minutes. I would have liked to have seen the entire movie, but anyway. The show right after was about the incident. I didn't know it was a group of people and that they survived for 72 days! That's crazy. And then I was thinking about one moment in the movie/incident. They interviewed one of the survivors and he said the most emotional part of the experience was when they were sitting in the airplane and they heard the faint noise of the helicopter.

Okay, I'm weird, but I was thinking to myself, what that feeling would be. You know...you've been in the middle of the mountains in the cold, no food (well, yeah, you know what I mean), the search for them has stopped after 8 days (but they don't know that obviously) for 72 days...they all probably lost hope, faith, whatever you want to call it and they are ready to die. And then out of nowhere a helicopter appears to rescue you. That moment of relief where you say to yourself, we're saved!...I want to know how that feels like.

That was a long rant about nothing. And of course a lot of the survivors were like, we prayed, we had faith in God, yadda, yadda. Call it what you guys want, but you guys got lucky! Plain and simple, lol.

Anyway, I'm going to wrap up my moving stuff. Here's to good things in the future!

P.S. I'll call you TJ, soon!

Time for an update and to play some catch up.

It's the 26th. So, last Thursday and today, as well as tomorrow and part of Wednesday, I've been and going to be volunteering at RMNP. It's been fun so far. The first day was 4 hours of data entry, helping this guy out. He's pretty funny. Apparently he's a big runner (along with other employees). He went camping to Steamboat with his wife and his car broke down so today ihe wasn't in. Today I worked with another girl that's head of the greenhouse. Man, I shoveled and worked in there all day. It was good though. I think I got sunburned (sunburnt?) in a few places. Her name was Laura, and yes, MY Laura is hotter. :) Tomorrow if Bill's back, I'm back to the data entry and then a few more hours on Wednesday to call it good.

I have to write up a journal and then a special project report and rate my supervisor and I'm done. What a relief. Now, I have to find a fucking job! Hooray! Oh well, I'll be moving in with Laura for the time being. I want to get an apartment that I can have a dog in. This time's for the reals my boy! Haha.

But yeah, it's been nice working with people who like to work outside and like nature. It's a change, from the "city" life of Ft. Collins and stuff (granted I'll be moving away from the city in a big way!) I like the simple, small town life. But anyway, Probably Wendesday I'll visit the park again using my pass and just walk around, thinking and stuff. It really relaxes you and I like that. It's so quiet, minus the cars that go by every now and then. I should walk into the park more and it'll be totally quiet. Maybe I'll get lost?

So yeah, that's what's been happening with me. I wonder how everyone else is doing. I've been busy and so have a lot of my other friends that I haven't really gotten to talk and catch up with them. I occasionally get IHOP with Ashley to see what she's up to. I talk to Laura. I haven't talked to TJ (I will after I get all done and I have some time!). Chris, well, he does his own thing now with his girlie. High school times baby!!

After I find a job up in Laramie, it's time for me to start another project with another friend at CSU. A college photo album website. It should be fun. We are deciding to do it before the big websites start to do it, like The Facebook and stuff. Hopefully it'll be successful!

Another thing is that my forums' software is running out of time to renew and I've been donated, so far, $145. I didn't think so many people cared! I was just going to raise enough money to renew for the year, but now I can purchase the license outright, hopefully. I sold my bro's laptop for $225, so I was going to use some of that to build my computer, but alas, probably won't happen. I'm going to buy some photo album software and pay bills with it. Oh well. Time will be soon my boy!

Come to think of it, I'm not really sure what's so funny about that saying but yeah, TJ's weird like that. Haha.

On Wednesday, another chapter of my life will be flipped over, opening a new one. I wonder what this chapter is going to be called? My last chapter, I will call, "My loooong college years." and the numbers of pages is, well, the LENGTH is 5 years. That's a big chunk of my life. I'd like for my chapters to be shorter in length, but oh well. We'll leave this next one tentatively titled "No name for chapter." Maybe I'll be finishing it in about 2 years. :)

So I'm about ready to finish writing. I wonder if my writing skills have been improving over these years? And I'm hungry. I want McDonald's and when Chris gets home, I'm going to make him drive me.

Some random facts about me:

1. Whenever I type, I ALWAYS use my right thumb to press the spacebar. I've tried using my left but it's just too weird and my typing speed dramatically decreases.

2. I have $1630 left on my credit card and I haven't used it in a looong time.

3. At home, I never sit in front of my desk with both feet on the ground.

4. I've collected $985 from PERA. lol.

Some cool lyrics from an old song.

Switchfoot

"This Is Your Life"

yesterday is a wrinkle on your forehead
yesterday is a promise that you've broken
don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes
this is your life and today is all you've got now
yeah, and today is all you'll ever have
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

yesterday is a kid in the corner
yesterday is dead and over

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes

this is your life are you who you want to be
this is your life are you who you want to be

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

and you had everything to lose

------------------------------------------

And for the answer to the chorus, yes. :)
Now I'm totally sick and tired of all the news that has to do ANYTHING with hurricanes. Katrina, Ophelia, Rita...fuck man. I hope a huge one comes and they call it Hurricane Holy-fuck-what-the-hell-are-we-going-to-do.

I tell you, the next thing is going to be tornadoes...and then earthquakes...and then we're going to realize that when Mother Earth gets pissed at us for destroying Earth, we can't do shit.

Hell, let's make use of all that wind and prop up a few wind generators down South. That'll at least do some good.

Rant over.

Tuesday, September 20, 2005

I figure it's been a while, so here's a post.

Yesterday we received Laura's new laptop from Dell and I took it up last night to give it to her and install a couple of programs. Man, the laptop is huge, but it's really nice. Now I'm thinking, I should have bought another one of those since Dell sort of stopped their awesome coupons. Laura's computer was $1200 and now a similar setup costs anywhere from $1800-$2100...I can't believe that! I could have made a few hundred dollars of profit. Oh well. But yeah, the graphics card in that puppy is the best for any laptop right now.

Tomorrow is my last paid work day, but have a few hours of volunteer time. I wonder what's going to happen. I got a letter from RMNP saying that if I don't hear from them in a week, let them know. A week!?! I need to know now. I want to get this internship finished up if you know what I mean. I might see if my boss will just let me work through the week at the office and just count that toward my internship and call it good at the end of the week. Hm...we'll see about that tomorrow.

And it was a hassle yesterday because I got an e-mail from the accounting lady and she said that since I wasn't registered for the Fall, which I need to be I guess and Summer registration doesn't count, I had to go in and fill out this form. Oh yeah, TJ, guess what form? PERA! Haha. So it looks like this paycheck and next paycheck, some portion will go to PERA. So I should get a few hundred dollars back. Haha.

Sent in a resume at a environmental consulting firm for a IT position. I hope I get it.

But other than that, nothing new really. Just gotta get crackin' on finding a job.

Will report later.

Friday, September 16, 2005

I was going to write in here just now, but I'm going to go play Halo 2 for a bit. Be back later.

This post is for Laura!

I would write you an e-mail but Gmail is down and I'm about to watch Early Edition...and to escape something...company.

P.S. Oh, Gmail is back up.

Tuesday, September 13, 2005

Time for some reflection.

So this past weekend I drove up to Laramie to hang out with Laura. The drive there was awesome. Here's why.

I was driving, cruise control set at ~72-73mph, and I passed a whole 3-4 trucks. That's about it. Maybe a car or two here and there, but it was just a really nice drive. I had all the windows down, sunroof open, and the music cranked up as loud as I've had it in a while. The songs that I chose to put on the CD was perfectly chosen for the situation. They were, how do I put it, those summer-time, just cruising down the highway, wind in your hair, sort of songs, you know? And I don't know, maybe it was me seeing Laura or whatever, but at that point, for the hour or so, life was great. Well and of course the rest of the weekend was good too.

That trip made me want to go on a road trip again. Like when Ben and I went up to Buffalo, Wyoming to see a friend. Or to Grinnell, Iowa to see a friend. Turns out, Ben and I hung out quite a bit and had some good times. It's a shame that I don't see him at all anymore. I think he's even in town too. Strange how that happens. To tell you the truth, well, I won't write it here. That thought is for me.

And of course, good things come to an end, sort of. The trip back, on the otherhand, sucked because there were lots of people and they just wanted to speed on by. You know me, I don't like getting passed by people. This one truck was crazy. I almost, really almost sped up to the same speed as him as he was passing me to make it so he had nowhere to go and he would hit the oncoming car...is that bad of me? I don't think so. :)

So I have about a week left and then some volunteer time and I'm off into the real world, again, so to speak. I have to start finding jobs here pretty soon. Either that or get my little project going asap! Time is nearing the end my boy! Haha, that was for TJ since he wrote a bit in his blog.

What I might do in the near future, is to make it so all of my blogs appear on one page, copy it and paste it into Word and print it out, like 2 to a page like a book. I think it would be sort of a cool thing to have, you know. I'll be like, yeah, that's my autobiography. Haha. I wonder how many pages I can fill.

So in a couple of week's time, my internship will be over as well, and finishing up my assignments, doing my internship rating and all that and getting a grade. I hope I get an A. I don't think I have a problem with that, though, unless my boss just messes up my rating since it's worth 40% of your grade!

Sadly, because of my stupid ass business management teacher's B, I won't be getting a 3.0 ending my college career. I really wish I would have...just one F or D converted would have done it, but I think I did a good job. I mean, my GPA when I returned to CSU from FRCC was 1.333! If only the FRCC grades transferred. My goal was to beat Chris out of school as well as beat him in GPA. I may or may not do the latter. I can't believe how much I changed after the first 2 years. Dunno what got into me. The thing is, Chris has so many withdrawals on his transcript. I don't know about anyone else, but I for one don't like to "quit"...even though I sort of did when I got kicked out. At least getting kicked out and quitting are different, right? :)

So I may be getting my brother's laptop. The thing is, his laptop had the same problem as Ashley's overheating and stuff. He sent it to me so hopefully I'll get it soon and if I can fix it, I can use that instead of getting a new computer. The thing is (god I say that a lot!), I think I can sell it for parts and get enough money to get my desktop, which would be SCHAWEEEEEEEEEEET! But on another note about laptops, I ordered Laura's laptop too. It's a greatly configured Dell with a $750 off $1899 coupon, so with a mini mouse, it came to $1210 shipped. Should ship about 9/19. I decided to get a loan for it through Dell and Laura can give me the money to pay the entire thing off to build my credit. Sneaky huh?

What else is worthy to mention? Um, not sure. I redesigned the guy from Boulder's website, which I already said, but this is the new redesign: http://www.voipnuke.com.

Well it's getting pretty long and I'm going to watch some TV as I head to sleep. Lately I've been thinking about writing a fantasy novel/book/story too. I have an idea, but I'm not sure how good of a write I am. I don't really know what the standard way to write conversations and how to make the story and chapters flow and stuff...oh well.

Here's a pretty website I look at once in a while just for visuals: http://www.joshuaink.com/

Aquarius - signing off...

OK, I've just about had it with this Katrina stuff. It's one thing when you really try to help. It's another when the Food Network announces "Please help the victims of Katrina. Go to FoodNetwork.com." WTF??? And uh oh, now all of a sudden we need to look out for tropical storms to the east. Ophelia is going to kick your ass!

Perhaps Mother Nature just got pissed?

Friday, September 09, 2005

Welcome to another edition of me babbling. I haven't written here in a few days. I don't know why. Nothing much has been happening, but it seems the last few days has gone by faster than normal. Weird.

So, lots of talk still about Hurricane Katrina. Recently I've been reading a couple of things on the internet about people starting to get annoyed of all the Katrina talk. To each their opinions I say. I tend to not read into stuff like this, as there isn't much I can do. It's great that people are donating their money, jobs, homes, etc. But again, like I mentioned before, why does it take such a big disaster to make it happen?

Enough of that. On September 11th, there's going to be a show on the Discovery channel called "The Flight That Fought Back." I guess it's supposed to be about the crew of flight 93 (I think) that apparently saved others doing whatever they did. That's all good and well, however, when the commercial for it says that the show is to recount what happened on that day and what the "HEROES" did, it sort of pisses me off.

I guess the discrepancy comes when you talk about the definition of "hero." This is a hard definition, since everyone has their own definition of hero. I can't really think of a good definition or even a good example for some reason, but I myself would not call the passengers of flight 93 heroes. Answers.com has a list of people that are commonly recognized by heroes (and some not so common like fictional heroes), but obviously I don't agree with all of them. I won't even start to name some of them because it'll just start a big argument. But the bottom line is that the term hero should be reserved for much more than society deems it to be these days.

Going apart from the rather "down" topic, Motogolf.com is almost ready for launch. My brother has put the files and papers for it to become an LLC here in Colorado and once that goes through, it'll open. Probably in about 3 weeks I guess.

I've been working on other projects as well. Hopefully at least one of them will see completion. I need to start looking for jobs as well. Time is nearing the end my boy. I am hoping to do some volunteer time up at RMNP possibly working on weed/disease control (probably a technical terms for pulling weeds) and/or working with elk and stuff on chronic wasting disease. That would be sort of interesting. I will probably start finding stuff in Laramie soon.

A little about the image for today's blog. It's the main character from a Japanese cartoon that I used to watch as a kid. I glimpsed the name somewhere while surfing the web and I miss watching it. Not sure if it's even playing now since it was like early 90s, but yeah, it was cool. If I had to put it in modern comparison, it would be like the equivalent of the X-Men series, I guess, coupled with a little bit of the Addams Family...whatever. Haha.

I guess I will leave this with a little word annoyance (I'm not even sure what the correct answer to this is). How is the name Forrest (from Forrest Gump) pronounced?

I'm an advocate for Fawh-rest...sort of hard to write it in words but like the "fa" from the word "far". This is as opposed to the more popular "forest" as in, uh, the dense gathering of trees in an area. Oh well. Who cares...right?

Tuesday, September 06, 2005

So one of those songs that I listen to a lot, this time around, is Howie Day's Collide...and the chorus is especially thought-provoking:

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
I somehow find
You and I collide

Yeah, it's been on the radio a lot, but it takes a few weeks to sometimes really listen to the song, if you know what I mean.

I just got an interesting idea for a gift. I guess this won't be until Christmas time!

I really want a new computer and I configured one for about $400 shipped that'll handle all my needs. Can't get it though, because I have other shit to pay for!

Oh well. Back to work tomorrow.

And one super random thought that's been in my mind for a while. I would pay a buttload of money to have a movie made of me and Laura and our life from a "3rd person perspective". That would be good. Photographs work, but only to a certain degree you know? I need 3-dimensionalism!

P.S. I'm thinking about moving this blog to another location so I can have more control over the design...we'll see about that.

Monday, September 05, 2005

Got back today from spending the weekend at Laura's place in Laramie. I had fun. I miss her but it's only a couple of more weeks, well, maybe more like a few more weeks before I may move up there. It'll be all good. I'm going to send in the app for the graphics designer job for the Cheyenne job probably tomorrow. I really need to get cracking on the Laramie apartments and businesses thing...I think it will work! I just need to get my mind set to it, more so than before. The thing is, my current job is sort of the thing that's keeping me at bay.

1 more month at this job. I can't believe that if I were in Alaska still, I would still be there, until the 15th. Crazy. I think most of my coworkers would be gone, save a few since they started school and all. I wonder how their summer turned out and all that nitty gritty stuff.

Looking back, this summer was a crazy one, for all of us. Me, TJ, Ashley, Laura...maybe not Chris since he's not been really doing much other than school and work. His routine hasn't changed for like years. Anyway, yeah, onto more interesting stuff.

Laura brought back the bow and I have it at my house now. It's pretty cool. It's pretty much the best weapon that I've ever got. ;) I'm going to probably buy some sweet wooden rods, sharpen the tip and get some feathers (okay, maybe not real feathers) so it'll fly straight.

I've been ITCHING to start a website...and put some Google Ads on it. Haha. I've just been reading about how Google Ads can give you a pretty steady income if you have a website with decent traffic. I think it would be cool to run a website with TJ. Once he gets a steady internet connection, maybe he will. We could just have a website were we have our individual opinions or something about anything and everything and people can come and comment on them. Then we can have projects like Cock Eyed. So in essence it'll be like that, but with a journal sort of thing. I think it would be fun. I was thinking of domain names and www.twoguysandanopinion.com is not taken. Haha. Long address, but it's pretty funny. Get on the internet connection out there in Iowa! :)

What else. Just paid some bills, nothing much else. I guess Comcast cable is upgrading their internet service nationwide right now, from the East to West. Colorado should be upgraded within a week or so but yeah, that's cool it's getting faster. Can't complain with that!

Well I'll keep this one a short one. Talk to you later.

P.S. Where's that blog TJ? Haha.

Wednesday, August 31, 2005

Well, with the ideas and help of Laura, I might have found something I want to do in Laramie!!! (With a part-time job to go with it probably for the beginning at least)

More info later...

...on second thought, I guess I would add something else. The importance of actually doing something when you find something you want to do...I think I really may try and do this. There might not be an opportunity again in the future, you know?
Another day, another day.

Didn't do too much again today. Ate lunch with Ashley at IHOP by my work and decided not to go back afterwards. She came over and scanned some pictures on Chris' scanner, but that's about it. I cleaned my bath tub since it was getting slightly dirty. I'm not a fan of dirty bathrooms. But that went well and I even used some bleach stuff.

Been watching Early Edition, but I think the re-run season started over from the very first episode, so they're the earlier ones and I don't think they're as good as the later ones. It's still good to see/remember how the whole show got started. I didn't realized a lot of the other casts were in it so much in the beginning.

Today was sort of cold in the morning and the high was only like 75 or something. Cool and refreshing day I would think some would think. That was a very poorly constructed sentence.

I didn't go and take pictures of Fort Collins yesterday. I would have, but I got lazy. Taking a picture of everything sounds and is daunting! If only I could hire someone and just get the pictures on my comp without me taking it.

Yeah, that's seems to be about it. I have to fill out this application and send it in to the Laramie Community College by the 12th...I'll probably send it out tomorrow night or something. They'll start screening on the 12th and I wonder if I'm going to have to go up there for an interview. I mean, I would like it, but I don't want to drive up there if I'm just going to be coming back and I'm not getting the job. Yeah, that sounds selfish doesn't it? Well, I'll be going now.

Talk to you later.

Tuesday, August 30, 2005

This is a short blog while my laptop defrags, and then I'm heading to bed.

Wow, that really was quick. The defrag is done. So I'll be back later!

Saturday, August 27, 2005

One more post before I lose the thought. I was watching Early Edition and in one episode, Gary opens this chest whose owner was the previous guy who got the paper. Anyway, the paper inside the chest had one sentence, probably meant for Gary. It said:

"Live your life"

Now, I'm not getting tomorrow's paper or anything, but I thought that phrase was really powerful, in a weird way. This combined with listening to this one song prompted me to write this entry.

Yeah, I guess I don't want to say in 5, 10, 20 years from now, "I wonder what would have happened if..."

Anyway that's all! I'll leave this blog with a message for Laura: I love you! :)
So yesterday I took a trip down to Longmont to lend my Mom Laura's printer because my brother in law won't help her. All went well and she go sushi for dinner, so that was good.

Anyway, a weird and crazy thing happened on the way there. I was turning onto Taft Hill going south from Prospect and an accident happened like, literally a few feet from me. I'll try and explain it (as I saw it or think what happened, at least). I was turning right. I think there was an SUV behind me and you know how if you're ever behind a car and they're slowing down to turn, you might swerve out to their left so you don't have to slow down as much? Well, that's what the SUV did. Keep that in mind. At the same time, there was a car wanting to turn left onto Taft Hill from Prospect, I remember that clearly since I saw him. And if you're ever wanting to turn left onto a road, you sometime go out to the intersection and anticipate a car coming down the road and you actually start turning left before they're out of the intersection...right? Ok, well, he thought the SUV was going to stay in my lane (the right lane) and I think he was starting to turn left...low and behold, the SUV wasn't in his lane, he was swerving into the left lane of Prospect, so it hit the left front of the car turning left.

I heard a big crash and I turned behind me and there it was. The guy in the smaller car was ok, I saw him get out and walk toward the SUV. I'm not sure what he was going to do, probably beat the shit out of the SUV! I mean, it was his fault. He shouldn't have been switching lanes at the intersection. Now I can understand even more why that law exists!

But yeah, for like a minute, I was like, dude, that could have involved me! And then I was listening to trance so I forgot about that. It was just a close call. Makes you think about what might have happened if you were involved. Like, I'm sure I couldn't have been part of that particular accident, per se, but in the future. Crazy stuff.

Laura is doing good I think in Laramie. She misses me a lot and I do too, but hopefully I'll be up there soon. She said people there just drink and all that, but yeah, what's with small places and people just drinking? Can't they just hang out? I don't understand. Laramie isn't THAT small, like 30,000 people, but anyway.

Just like Laura said to me, it seems like everyone right now is in a state of limbo, in terms of where they are in their life, what they want to be doing, what they are doing, etc., with the exception of a couple of friends I know. It's a weird time for sure. I've got about a month before my internship is over. Well, at the least paying part. I have to do 30 hours of volunteer, since they couldn't pay me for the entire 400 hours. My boss is trying to set something up where I might help out in Rocky Mountain to finish up the internship. That would be fun.

I'll probably start looking at jobs here pretty soon, probably starting sometime next week. Monday, I finally finish up my root canal with the crown procedure. Oh yeah, I haven't really talked about my tooth, have I? It's been good. It was sore a few blogs ago and I guess the problem was that I wasn't using it ENOUGH...or so I think the problem was. I starting slowly using it and it's all better, so.

I'm curious was TJ is up to and what he's thinking about doing. I also need to get his brother's e-mail address so I can ask him to make me sword! Haha. I actually do want a sword if he can make one. I would even consider paying for it! How cool would it to have a broadsword or claymore or something like that in the room and say to your visitors, if you fuck with me, I'll go King Arthur on you. lol. That was really nerdy, but oh well.

I think that's it for now. I'm probably going to make some coffee with the coffee maker that Laura bought me. It's working great (and it's was only $20!). I've been listening to a lot of new (old?) songs. They're old to the music industry, but they're new to me since I've never heard them. A lot of them are reflective songs and I like that. Well, that's it.

See ya.

Today I went to a work lunch meeting with some of the web people. I'm not exacly sure why I went, since I was hoping they would pay for the food and they didn't, and I really didn't say much because it doesn't concern me, but it was fun to do that with my coworkers. We went to Woody's pizza, which I don't like really, but oh well.

Tomorrow they're having like an ice cream social because one of the guys from DC who's doing the seminar is here and wants to visit the office so that's an excuse for an ice cream social.

I downloaded two good songs today, I think one's pretty old, but yeah. They're good. Tomorrow is going to be a laid back day. I'm probably going to head to work and I'm going to leave around noon and come back. Do my journal assignment for my internship and call it a day. Man, it's been boring.

My brother is really getting into the selling the electric cart thingy. I'm helping out with the website, obviously, and I guess I have 25% equity. lol. The website will be located at Motogolf.com but it's not ready yet. It will be open in a 1/2 month or so. This one's been a learning experience since I had to integrate a shopping cart and stuff since people will need to buy the carts. I guess I'll be doing all the sales parts, like forwarding e-mails and such. We'll see how much money this is going to make.

Another thing I've been sort of working on was building websites for businesses in FoCo. I think I wrote that already, but yeah, I have a template site set up and everything. Just need to find a way to approach this. Gotta think it through a bit more.

Laura is doing good I think in Laramie. She's been hanging out (I think) with her classmates and she starts school next week. Oh yeah, and we've been talking on Google Talk a lot too. It's a lot more convenient than typing, since I can just talk and so can she. I need to get her a headset, though. Then you can just surf and talk and it's so easy. Google is making everything better and they're going to take over the world!

I think tonight I am going to watch Early Edition. I haven't had the chance the last 2 days since I've been working on websites, but tonight is a chill and watch Early Edition night. Should be fun.

Other news? Not really. I've been involved more with the forums than recently...I'm about ready to let it go, for real though. October is when the forum software runs out and I ain't payin' another $85 for renew it. We'll see what the future hold for it. It's been just over a year now. Cool huh. 826 members too! I doubt I'll reach my goal of 1/4 the student body, but oh well.

I'm going to go make some coffee now to get ready for the show. Talk to you laters!
